Support the Defence Community in a unique way and make a real difference.

The Defence Bank Foundation raises funds to allow Defence Community Dogs to rescue and train dogs to become PTSD Service Dogs. These dogs support the rehabilitation of our serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members who are dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Over the past four years the foundation has raised funds to rescue and train over 200 dogs to support Veterans living with PTSD, and based on the feedback received from those living with PTSD and their families, it is apparent that the PTSD Service Dogs have made a difference to these lives.

Each dog is highly trained to recognise the symptoms of PTSD and support the individual during their rehabilitation by following a specialised dog training program devised by Australia‚Äôs leading dog trainer, Steve Austin.

Sadly, more PTSD Service Dogs are needed, so please help support this worthy cause.

The administration costs to run the foundation are met by Defence Bank to make sure that all donated funds are provided to Defence Community Dogs to rescue dogs and train them for Veterans.

All donations over $2.00 are Tax Deductible.
